Chang'e-6 Lunar Samples to Be Featured at 15th Airshow China

China's Chang'e-6 lunar samples, collected from the far side of the moon, are set to be showcased at the upcoming 15th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, widely known as Airshow China, as confirmed by the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense.

Li Yang, an official from the agency, noted that alongside the lunar samples, the display will include the Chang'e-6 return capsule, providing attendees with an opportunity to gain insights into the significant advancements within China's burgeoning space industry.

The airshow, scheduled to take place from November 12 to 17 in Zhuhai, located in Guangdong Province, will feature an array of aircraft and carrier rockets, illustrating the country's capabilities in aviation and aerospace.

Hao Changfeng, spokesperson for the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, revealed that the company plans to present nearly 200 high-tech products at the event, including debut exhibits such as the Chang'e-6 probe and the Long March-8A carrier rocket.

According to Hao, around 150 items will be making their first appearance, with new exhibits comprising an impressive 75 percent of the total display, emphasizing the rapid development of China's technological prowess.

Additionally, Wu Jiwei, spokesperson for the Aviation Industry Corporation of China, announced that his organization will showcase over 260 products, further underlining the progress and innovations within the sector.

Since its inception in 1996, Airshow China has established itself as a critical platform for the exhibition of advanced aviation and aerospace technologies and equipment, facilitating both domestic and international collaborations.

The event has evolved into a significant global venue, promoting partnerships in the aviation and aerospace industries while showcasing China's growing expertise and leadership in these fields.
