Companies Highlight Digital Services at 7th China Import Expo

The upcoming seventh China International Import Expo (CIIE) is set to showcase a plethora of innovations from Fortune Global 500 companies, with a particular focus on green development and collaborative efforts in driving digital transformation. The event, taking place from November 5 to 10, aims to highlight the growing need for sustainable practices in global trade.
Among the notable participants, as many as 15 Fortune Global 500 companies are poised to unveil their state-of-the-art technologies at the Trade in Services exhibition, which will cover an expansive area of 30,000 square meters. This participation underscores the importance these companies place on tapping into the lucrative Chinese market.
The exhibition is thematically centered on 'Green and Low-carbon Development, Stable and Strong Chains, and Digital and Smart Future.' It will feature a wide range of exhibits, including supply chain services, consulting, and financial services, all aimed at providing innovative, integrated, and environmentally sustainable management solutions.
Among the exhibitors, DB Schenker, part of the German Rail operator, and Dun & Bradstreet, a prominent data analytics firm from the U.S., are set to showcase their advanced solutions. DB Schenker will provide insights into its logistics and transportation options, which encompass air, sea, rail, and contract logistics.
These advanced logistics solutions are strategically designed to support the digital transformation of China's logistics market, promoting a collaborative, efficient, and green supply chain that prioritizes low-carbon outcomes. The implications are significant for key industries such as automotive, consumer retail, and aerospace.
Dun & Bradstreet is also preparing to introduce ChatD&B, touted as the first global generative AI assistant capable of delivering immediate business insights. This innovative tool enables users to engage in natural language conversations to quickly retrieve relevant information on various enterprises, enhancing decision-making processes.
In addition to these innovations, Cathay Pacific Airways will make its mainland market debut with newly developed cabin products at the expo. This launch is expected to attract significant attention and demonstrate the company's commitment to enhancing its service offerings.
The introduction of such cutting-edge technologies and services highlights the expo's role in attracting foreign companies and investment opportunities. This year, over 152 countries, regions, and organizations are participating, reinforcing the event's global significance.
As a newcomer to the expo, Swire Group's Chair for the Chinese Mainland, Jacqueline Jiang, expressed optimism about leveraging the CIIE as a platform for showcasing China's high-quality development and fostering new growth avenues based on principles of openness and mutual benefit.
